When I was 20 years old, I made it my mission to switch from nursing school into fashion design school.

I hit every roadblock you could imagine. I was denied admission to the program three different times, but I still decided to show up to the design classes even though I wasn't officially enrolled. I just wanted to learn.

Eventually, I got called into the dean's office. She was furious and couldn't understand how I had been getting into these classes. After a lot of poorly navigated hardball, I finally told her:

"I promise, if you let me into this program, I'll truly impact people's lives through my work as a designer."

Six years later, that journey is beginning.

While I know the garments I'll be releasing are pieces people will genuinely love and cherish wearing, there's a greater mission behind this label: to create work that truly impacts the human heart.

It feels surreal to be here.
